This week we’ve upgraded the number of free pictures a member can upload from 5 to 15 (on the English version of Facebox).

This weekend we’ll surpass the 10-million-member mark! These days we’re counting 150,000 new members per day. Whilst initially people joined because they knew “someone” who’s on Facebox, we notice that more and more users are joining because a lot or even all of their friends, relatives or schoolmates are using Facebox on a daily basis.

For about two weeks now we’re running a survey to get audited insight in our member base. We’re cooperating with the leading European e-research agency InSites. So far we’ve gathered over 82.000 qualified respondents throughout Europe. We’ll be publishing some of the remarkable results regularly on this blog.

As we all use Macs at Incrowd, the Photo Booth application has provided the Tech Unit with some hilarious photos. Most of them are on the test version of Facebox, which is only available for team members.

We are happy to announce the soft launch of the Italian version of Facebox. Italians are now automatically redirected to this distribution. Italians living in other countries, can visit it.facebox.com. Thumbs up for Alessandro and Iolanda, the Italian community managers (CMs).
